Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act - Study L-750

The Commission studied whether California should enact the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act ("UAGPPJA").
In 2013, the Commission approved a final recommendation, which proposes that UAGPPJA be enacted with modifications to protect California policies and ensure that the act works smoothly in this state.
The Commission will seek enactment of the proposed legislation in 2014.
