Common Interest Developments Studies

In 2000, the Legislature authorized the Commission to conduct a general study of the law governing common interest developments ("CIDs"). The study has since grown and materials are now cataloged separately relating to specific CID-related subtopics. Click on the appropriate link below to find these materials. Active studies are denoted in red.
If you have questions or comments on this study, send an e-mail to Brian Hebert at bhebert@clrc.ca.gov. The Commission is not able to provide advice regarding specific problems you may be having in your CID. However, there are other state agencies that do provide information that may be helpful to you.
